His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II receives His Excellency Mor Barnaba Youssef Habash, Syriac Catholic Archbishop of USA, at Mor Aphrem Center in New Jersey.
His Excellency discussed with His Holiness the current situation in the Middle East and the relief work that the Church is offering to the needy and poor.
His Holiness spoke about the importance of common work among the churches to offer a common witness to the world. He stressed that the church is doing her mission in bringing hope to those who want to remain in their homeland as well as offer job opportunities to allow them to live with dignity.
