On Saturday July 15, 2017 His Eminence Mor Dionysius John Kawak paid a pastoral visit to St. Aphraim Parish in Washington D.C. During his visit His Eminence Kawak attended a presentation about the Bible Museum, which will open in D.C. next November. Later, he enjoyed a “family night” and he met with the Parish Counsel of the church, during which they discussed the welfare of the church and community there.
On Sunday July 16, His Eminence Celebrated the Holy Liturgy (Qurbono), in the presence of the Parish Priest, Very Rev. Fr. Augeen Alkhouri Namat .
