Under the auspices of the Archbishop Mor Dionysius John Kawak, the youths of the Eastern Syriac Orthodox Archdiocese of the United State of America were invited to have one day gathering in preparation for SYGG 2018 in UAS. On Saturday August 19th 2017, a youth group gathered at Mor Aphrem Center in New Jersey and spent the day with the following program: morning prayers, meditation, spiritual workshops, discussion groups and ended the day with a spiritually nourishing evening worship.
