On Thursday, September 14, 2017, on the occasion of the feast of the discovery of the Holy Cross, His Eminence Mor Dionysius John Kawak presided over a spiritual night service (Shahro) at Mor Aphrem Center. His eminence was assisted by the local clergy of the Archdiocese where the chapel was full of faithful gathered to celebrate this feast.
During his sermon, Archbishop Kawak gave an overview of the history of this important event in the history of the Christianity, and focused on its spiritual meaning.
