On Sunday, May 22, 2016, St. Matthew’s Church in Boston held its Ceremonial Holy Communion. His Eminence Mor Dionysius Jean Kawak, Archbishop Patriarchal-Vicar for the Eastern Archdiocese of United State of America and His Eminence Mor Salwanos Petros Alnama, Archbishop of Homs and Hama, celebrated the Holy Divine Liturgy at 11:00 am assisted by the Rev. Fr. Antoin Sabha, the priest of St. Matthew’s Church.
In this blessed ceremony, eight children were prepared to receive the Holy Communion; during which they recited several prayers in English, and a group of our Sunday School deacons served the Holy Liturgy.
The children who received the Holy Communion are:
George Stephen Somi, Andre Philip somi, Angelina Jbiel, Jacob Anthony Chammas, Ayman Jarjis Alzaeem, Noor Mariam Zaki, Peter Putrus Alzaeem and Michelle Marie Bahhady.
