His Eminence Archbishop Mor Dionysius John Kawak, accompanied by Very Rev. Fr. Maroutha Hanna, Very Rev. Fr. Andrew Bahhi, and Very Rev. Fr. Augeen Alkhoury Nimat made a pastoral visit to St. Peter’s Church in Long Island, New York, on Wednesday March 14, 2018.
His Eminence, Very Rev. Fr. Gabriel Adde, pastor of St. Peter’s Church and the clergy, led the Lenten evening prayer. The spiritual message was delivered by His Eminence on the topic “Draw near to God” (James 4:8). Very Rev. Khuroyo Gabriel Adde expressed his gratitude to His Eminence for his visit and invited him and all of the attendees for a Lenten dinner prepared by the church’s ladies auxiliary group.
