On Friday, October 5, 2018, Mr. Abboud Zeitoune shared his knowledge of the history of the folk music of our Syriac people at a lecture that took place in the hall of the Mor Aphrem Center. The lecture was extremely interesting and nostalgic for all who were in attendance, which were many. Mr. Zeitoune shared the history of our folk music in both dialects, western and eastern. His PowerPoint presentation was very interactive and he played many samples from songs familiar to everyone. We appreciate Mr. Abboud Zeitoune’s time and efforts, and all his information that he shared with us and we wish him the best in all his future endeavors.
