His Eminence Mor Dionysius John Kawak celebrated Holy Liturgy (Qurbono) on the Sunday of the birth of John the Baptist, assisted by Very Rev. Fr. Andrew Bahhi, on December 9, 2018 at Virgin Mary Church in Paramus, NJ. This celebration came on the Golden Jubilee of the Parish of the Virgin Mary, it is being their 50th anniversary. His Eminence congratulated all the parish members, including the parish council, the deacons, the choir, the ladies auxiliary, the Sunday school, and all others. His Eminence spoke about the significant history of this parish in the United States and the importance of continuing into the future. In his prayers, His Eminence asked the Lord to bless the congregation and prayed for their spiritual well being.
Following the conclusion of Holy Qurbono, His Eminence presided over the Golden Jubilee celebration in the Church Hall with an Agapy meal. His Eminence blessed the parishioners and the food before them and congratulated Very Rev. Fr. Andrew Bahhi, and all the faithful for their hard work.
