On July 27th, 2019, the third day of the 55th annual convention started by the morning prayer. Very Rev. Father Augeen Alkhouri gave a speech after reading the Holy Gospel about choosing the Christian life. At 11:45 am the Youth Mission to Guatemala gave a presentation about their mission trip and how they served God through the people they met. At 12:45 am Dr. George Anton Kiraz gave a lecture about the history of the Syriac Orthodox in North America followed by the book signing. Evening prayer took place at St. Gabriel Syriac Orthodox Church, during which the clergy present a recital of Syriac hymns.
