The Unified Sunday school teachers retreat was held on Oct 7-9, 2016 – the retreat was hosted by the Eastern Archdiocese under the leadership of His Eminence Mor Dionysious Jean Kawak.
The retreat was attended by teachers from California, Washington DC, Massachusetts, Florida and New Jersey. Teachers were trained on how to keep students engaged as well as discovering how kids learn best. The Unified Sunday school committee presented Mrs. Mrs. Linda Khoury a plaque as a token of appreciation for her many years of dedication and support and service to the Sunday school program. After all of the attendees attended Holy Liturgy at St. Mark’s Cathedral in Teaneck, NJ. The retreat was concluded with a fellowship luncheon at the Mor Aphrem Center.
