On Tuesday, June 25th, 2019, the Patriarchal Liturgical Committee, presided by Mor Philoxenos Matthias Nayis Patriarchal Vicar in Germany via Skype, had its preparatory meeting at the Mor Aphrem Center in Paramus, NJ. This meeting aimed preparing a roadmap for future work on the various aspects of Syriac Orthodox liturgical life. It was attended by Mor Diyonysius John Kawak, Very Rev. Fr. Roger Akhrass, Very Rev. Fr. Joseph Chamoun, Very Rev. Fr. Saliba Kassis, and Deacon George Kiraz. The meeting was also attended by local monks, Very Rev. Fr. Andrew Bahhi and Very Rev. Fr. Augeen Alkhouri.
