On Sunday, December 20th, 2020 His Eminence Mor Dionysius John Kawak, assisted by Very Rev. Fr. Joseph Chamoun, celebrated the Holy Liturgy at St. Mark’s Cathedral in Paramus, NJ. In his sermon, His Eminence Mor Dionysius John Kawak spoke about the Genealogy of our Lord Jesus Christ according to St. Matthew. He also spoke about the late Archbishop Mor Selwanos Boutros Al-Nehmeh who was a close friend to His Eminence since the days of his monkhood. He described his character and humility and emphasized the traits that shaped his personality and made him close to all people. He shared the good memories of his ministry and how he always served the church with faithfulness and love. The service of the priests was offered for the rest of the soul of Archbishop Mor Selwanos Boutros Al-Nehmeh of blessed memory.
