On Sunday, May 16, 2021, His Eminence Mor Dionysius John Kawak celebrated the Divine Liturgy at St. Mark’s Cathedral in Paramus, NJ assisted by Very Rev. Fr. Joseph Chamoun in the presence of Very Rev. Fr. Joseph Shabo and Rev. Fr. Gabriel Alkass. During the sermon, he spoke directly to the children about the importance of receiving the Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ and reminded the children that they should always be present and attend the Holy Liturgy every Sunday. His Eminence then spoke directly to the parents and advised them that “when their children were baptized, they are their first teachers of their faith.” He then congratulated the little children and the parents and Very Rev. Fr. Joseph Chamoun and those who prepared for the Ceremony.
