On Sunday, October 30, 2022, His Eminence Mor Dionysius John Kawak celebrated the Holy Liturgy at Church of the Virgin Mary assisted by Very Rev. Fr. Andrew Bahhi, in the presence of V. Rev. Fr. John Khoury, and Rev. Fr. Gabriel Alkass.
In his sermon His Eminence spoke about Qudosh Ito, which means the Sanctification of the Church. He also mentioned that by celebrating this Sunday we are receiving an invitation to consecrate, dedicate and purify ourselves to be able to be the temple of God. At the end of his sermon His Eminence mentioned that today we are saying goodbye to Abuna Andrew, and we thank him for all his hard work and service, and we wish him all the best in his new mission.
