Holy Liturgy Celebration at St. Matthew’s the Hermit Syriac Orthodox Church in Sterling Heights, Michigan
On Sunday, January 22, 2023, His Eminence celebrated the Holy Liturgy at St. Matthew’s the Hermit Syriac Orthodox Church in Sterling Heights, Michigan on the Third Sunday after the Epiphany.
In his sermon he spoke about Nicodemus and how he was a man with many honors but yet with something missing in his life. He came to Jesus for a talk so that somehow in the darkness of the night he might find light. His Eminence reminded the faithful that Jesus is telling all of us and ordering us that we must be born again every single day in order to enter the kingdom of heaven.
