On Sunday, March 26, 2023, His Eminence Mor Dionysius John Kawak celebrated the Holy Liturgy at the Parish of St. James of Nisibin in Corpus Christi, Texas on the occasion of the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary.
During the Liturgy His Eminence ordained Shamoshe to the rank of Quroye (Readers)and Subdeacons (Afidyakne).
In his sermon he spoke about the Virgin Mary and how she said yes to the invitation of the angel Gabriel, and he asked the faithful if they are ready to say yes to the calling of the Lord.
He then concluded by congratulating all those who carry the name of Virgin Mary and the newly ordained Shamoshe.
