On Sunday Afternoon April 9, 2023, His Eminence Mor Dionysius John Kawak celebrated the Nahireh service assisted by Rev. Fr. Imad Al-Banna at St. Matthew the Hermit Syriac Orthodox Church in Sterling Heights, Michigan which marks the beginning of the Holy Week with the Parable of the Ten Virgins.
His Eminence meditated on the parable of the the Ten Virgins and reminded the faithful on what we should be doing in order to enter with the Bridegroom to His heavenly kingdom.
