On Tuesday, April 25, 2023, the Youth Bible study was conducted by Elie Raheb and Mikhael Dunya from Spread Life-Lebanon.
Elie first spoke to the youth about the topic from the chapter of Job 42:2 “I know that You can do everything, and that no purpose of Yours can be withheld from You.”
He explained to the Youth that as human beings we will face fear, frustration, and anxiety but we can overcome all of these feelings and Jesus can change our souls from the inside because the Holy Bible confirms to us that Jesus is able to do all things and miracles to help us face all of these struggles. He shared two examples from the Holy Bible as to how God really helps one when they are in need. The first one being the story of Daniel in the Lion’s Den, but God came, and saved Daniel from the Lions and the second example given was Daniel and his friends.
The floor was then given to Mikhael Dunya to speak more about the importance of service in our lives, how it leads us closer to God and how it allows us to experience His power. He gave examples of himself, Elie and twenty-five other servants that have witnessed in the organization Spread Life. He also spoke briefly of the purpose of Spread Life and invited all Youth to join in on this fruitful mission in Lebanon.
In conclusion the Youth Bible Study ended with His Eminence thanking our two guest speakers from Lebanon and telling the Youth that Elie and Mikhael are putting their faith into action and this is how Christians should be. The floor was also open to questions and answers and closed by a prayer.
