Elevation of Rev. Fr. Anton Sabha to the rank of Chorepiscopus (Khouroyo)
On Friday, April 28, 2023 His Eminence Mor Dionysius John Kawak assisted by Very Rev. Fr. Joseph Chamoun and Rev. Fr. Samer Yacoub Youhanoun, and in the presence on many of the clergy of the Archdiocese, celebrated the Holy Liturgy at St. Matthew’s Syriac Orthodox Church in West Roxbury, Massachusetts and elevated Rev. Fr. Anton Sabha to the rank of Chorepiscopus (Khouroyo).
In his speech, Very Rev. Fr. Anton Sabha thanked our Almighty Lord for His blessings, His Eminence Archbishop Kawak for surprising him with this occasion on his elevation and finally he thanked each and everyone who attended the celebration, along with his family.
After the Holy Liturgy, the Parish Council prepared a banquet for the occasion in honor of V. Rev. Fr. Anton Sabha.
