On Saturday, May 13, 2023, His Eminence Archbishop John Kawak attended the enthronement ceremony of His Eminence Metropolitan Saba Esper as Archbishop of New York and Metropolitan of the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America at St. Nicholas Cathedral in Brooklyn, New York.
After the enthronement, His Eminence Archbishop Kawak was also invited to attend the Banquet made in honor of Metropolitan Saba at the New York Marriott at the Brooklyn Bridge, where he presented his heartfelt wishes for the newly enthroned Metropolitan in his name and in the name of our Archdiocese.
