On Sunday, May 21, 2023, His Eminence Mor Dionysius John Kawak celebrated the Holy Liturgy at St. Mark’s Cathedral on the occasion of the Children’s Holy Ceremonial Communion assisted by V. Rev. Fr. Joseph Chamoun the parish priest.
His Eminence asked the children questions related to the Holy Communion as to when and why we receive the Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. He then spoke to the parents about the importance for the kids to be brought to Church every Sunday for the Holy Liturgy.
His Eminence concluded by congratulating the children and their families, and thanked all those who worked tirelessly to prepare the children for this very important ceremony.
