On Sunday, September 10, 2023, His Eminence Mor Dionysius John Kawak celebrated the Holy Liturgy assisted by V. Rev. Fr. Joseph Chamoun at St. Mark’s Cathedral in Paramus, New Jersey. Before he began to deliver his sermon, His Eminence made a few encouraging remarks to the parents to register their children to our Archdiocesan Preschool God’s Children Academy.
He then followed by delivering his sermon on “A House Divided cannot Stand” and went on by explaining to the faithful about two important points, the first one being the importance of prayer, as the Lord is telling us to ask, seek and to keep knocking and the second one he spoke about was the importance of being one because a divided house cannot stand.
His Eminence concluded by reminding the faithful to be in unity and harmony in all the things we do in our lives. And by achieving this, we must love one another because love is the only thing that helps us achieve what Jesus is saying.
