Under the Auspices of His Eminence Mor Dionysius John Kawak, SOAYO committee of New Jersey (Syriac Orthodox Archdiocese Youth Organization) hosted their first annual Nativity Star Lighting at the Mor Aphrem Center.
Maryrose Chamoun the President of SOAYO welcomed everyone and thanked everyone who helped prepare for this fruitful event. His Eminence also gave a warm welcome to all who attended and reminded them that the purpose of this annual evening is to focus on the Nativity of our Lord Jesus Christ. Followed by the Angels Choir who chanted Syriac Christmas Hymns. The evening concluded with having many crafts for the children and refreshments.
