On Monday, February 26, 2024, a spiritual and meditation night was hosted at Mor Gabriel Church in Haworth, New Jersey, led by His Eminence Mor Andrawos Bahhi.
He first opened with a meditation followed by Syriac hymns that were chanted by Hala Shabo.
His Eminence spoke to the faithful about Jonah’s journey and how it relates to us in our spiritual life. He mentioned how we are all like Jonah and how we refuse to obey God and make bad excuses to be free from God.
He then concluded by reminding them that if we open our hearts like Jonah did and obey God we become a man of God.
