On Saturday, February 17, 2024, Under the Auspices of His Eminence Mor Dionysius John Kawak, the SOAYO committee of New Jersey (Syriac Orthodox Archdiocese Youth Organization), hosted a Youth Spiritual Lecture night welcoming His Eminence Mor Andrawos Bahhi, Patriarchal Vicar of Youth affairs and Christian Education. His Eminence Mor Dionysius John Kawak opened by welcoming His Eminence Mor Andrawos Bahhi and thanking all the Youth who came to participate in this spiritual gathering.
His Eminence Mor Andrawos Bahhi first opened with encouraging the Youth to read from Ezekial 16:8, and spoke about “Is there something more than His love?”
He began to explain how this specific verse is for those who feels they have committed many sins and mistakes in their life, and that it gives them a “Hope of Love.” So even when you feel ashamed “The Lord is saying to you and to me, ‘do not be afraid I spread My wing over you and covered your nakedness’.” The evening was concluded by a Spiritual Meditation by His Eminence Mor Andrawos Bahhi and then the floor was then open for open discussion and testimonies.
