On Sunday, April 28, 2024, His Eminence Mor Dionysius John Kawak celebrated the Holy Liturgy assisted by Rev. Fr. Aphram Alfaham on the occasion of the blessed Palm Sunday feast at the church of St. Aphraim, in Alexandria, Virginia.
In his sermon, His Eminence invited the faithful to open their hearts and make it a new Jerusalem for our Lord Jesus Christ to come in and dwell in it. It is a powerful call to embrace humility and welcome the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ into our lives.
A heartwarming procession followed the sermon, with the children and deacons joyously leading the way.
As the Holy Liturgy concluded, His Eminence extended his genuine wishes to all families and faithful present, sharing blessings of happiness and grace upon each one of us as we enter into this blessed Palm Sunday feast.
