Under the auspices of His Eminence Mor Dionysius John Kawak, on April 12th & 13th, 2024 and April 19th & 20th, 2024, the Syriac Orthodox Theater Group’s production, along with our talented youth and junior youth from our three local churches in New Jersey came together to reenact and bring to life the most profound story in history—the Passion and Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, “Tragedy and Triumph.”
From the moments of Jesus’ miracles—like the raising of Talitha and Lazarus, the miracle of the fish, and the healing of the blind man—to the heart-wrenching portrayal of His capture, crucifixion, and glorious resurrection, every scene was a testament to the enduring power of faith and love.
