With the blessings of His Eminence Mor Dionysius John Kawak and in his presence, on Saturday, June 1, 2024, V. Rev. Fr. Joseph Chamoun, parish priest of St. Mark’s Cathedral, hosted a Deacon’s Meeting.
The evening began with an agape meal, encouraging fellowship and unity. After dinner, His Eminence spoke on the Biblical foundation of deaconhood, emphasizing the criteria for being a good servant in the Church.
V. Rev. Fr. Joseph then delivered a short speech about the duties of deacons in the Holy Altar and the importance of continuous improvement as church servants.
The gathering concluded and was filled with shared thoughts and discussions on how to better serve the Church.
