On Thursday, June 13, 2024, St. Mark’s Youth hosted an evening of meditation and a bonfire. His Eminence Mor Dionysius John Kawak shared a spiritual message on the theme “Awakened to New Life: The Resurrection of Jesus in Our Daily Walk.”
During his talk, His Eminence emphasized that the Resurrection of Jesus Christ is not merely a historical event but a call to live transformed lives. He explained that the Resurrection is the essence of our faith, offering us new life each day.
Following this inspiring message, His Eminence Mor Andrawos Bahhi addressed the youth, discussing further aspects of living a faith-driven life by telling them how we should live the resurrection every day in our daily lives, and how the power of Resurrection can conquer our temptations.
The event concluded with a closing prayer, after which everyone gathered around the bonfire to enjoy the rest of the evening.
