Day 3 Recap: Suryoyo Family Gathering
The third day of the Suryoyo Family Gathering began with the uplifting morning prayers. Following this, attendees were treated to a series of spiritual lectures.
Abuna Joel delivered an inspiring talk to the adults on the topic “From Faith to Practice,” exploring how to translate faith into everyday actions and decisions.
Abuna Michael Sorial engaged the youth with a spiritual talk and session on “How to Implement Works in Faith and Works.” His emphasis was on making faith actionable and relevant in their lives.
His Eminence Mor Dionysius John Kawak spoke to the junior youth about “By Works Faith was Made Perfect,” highlighting the essential relationship between faith and deeds.
The day concluded with a fruitful message by His Eminence Mor Augeen Alkhouri Nimat to all the families. His talk, titled “Stepping into a Deep Life with God,” encouraged families to deepen their spiritual lives and connections with God.
The evening was beautifully wrapped up with the VBS children singing and chanting songs, leaving everyone with a sense of joy and community spirit.
Day 3 was indeed a day of spiritual enrichment and community bonding, setting a profound tone for the remainder of the gathering.
