On Wednesday, July 17, 2024, His Eminence Mor Dionysius John Kawak celebrated the Holy Liturgy in the presence of V. Rev. Fr. Joseph Chamoun and V. Rev. Fr. Aziz Hadodo at St. Mark’s Cathedral in Paramus, New Jersey during the first week of the Suryoyo Summer camp hosted at the Mor Aphrem Center.
In his sermon to the campers, His Eminence spoke about Jesus calling His first disciples, and he touched up on what “Follow Me”means. He shared six important points to the children which were: Trusting Jesus, learning from Jesus, sharing God’s love, being kind, listening to God’s Word and helping others.
He reminded them that Jesus’ call to “Follow Me” is for everyone, even for children, and closed by ending it with let us remember to trust Jesus, learn from Him, and share His love with others.
