On Tuesday, August 6, 2024, His Eminence Mor Augeen Alkhouri Nimat, celebrated the Holy Liturgy in the presence of His Eminence Mor Dionysius John Kawak, V Rev. Fr. Joseph Shabo, and V. Rev. Fr. Aziz Hadodo at Mor Gabriel Church in Haworth, New Jersey, on the occasion of the Feast of the Transfiguration of our Lord Jesus Christ and the Feast of the Patron Saint of the Church, Mor Gabriel.
During the service, His Eminence Mor Augeen Alkhouri Nimat delivered the sermon based on Luke 9:27-36. He described the moment when our Lord appeared in divine glory, explaining that this revelation, though partial, serves to renew and strengthen our faith.
