On Wednesday, August 7, 2024, in the presence of His Eminence Mor Dionysius John Kawak, and V. Rev. Fr. Joseph Chamoun, V. Rev. Fr. Aziz Hadodo celebrated the Holy Liturgy for the Suryoyo Summer Camp Children on the occasion of the Feast of the Transfiguration of our Lord Jesus Christ at St. Mark’s Cathedral in Paramus, New Jersey.
Following the Bible reading, camper Johnathon Aydin gave an insightful explanation of the Transfiguration, helping the children’s understanding of this significant event.
His Eminence Mor Dionysius John Kawak also shared a heartfelt message, encouraging the campers to reflect Christ’s light in their own lives, just as Jesus did, so that others might see Jesus shining through them.
