SCOOCh Bishops Meeting, August 2024 at St. Leon Armenian Church
On Monday, August 5, 2024, His Eminence Mor Dionysius John Kawak participated in the SCOOCh Bishops’ Meeting held at St. Leon Armenian Church in Fairlawn, New Jersey. This important gathering brought together the prelates of the SCOOCh Committee (the Standing Conference of Oriental Orthodox Churches) to discuss a range of important matters facing their Church communities.
The meeting featured in-depth discussions on the ongoing dialogue between the Oriental and Eastern Orthodox Churches in America, reflecting the commitment of the prelates to advancing unity and collaboration. The conversations were insightful, highlighting the shared mission and goals of the Churches involved.
