By the blessing of His Eminence Mor Dionysius John Kawak, Fr. Imad Al-Banna represented the Syriac Orthodox Archdiocese for Eastern USA and participated in the Christian Churches Together 2024 Forum, which was held in Memphis, Tennessee, October 8-11, under the theme “Come, Holy Spirit: Renew, Restore, and Reconcile.”
Participants from different denominations, Orthodox, Catholic, and Protestants, represented their churches in the USA, and others represented their organizations. The forum included daily lectures, meetings, and local pilgrimages in Memphis. They all prayed and called upon the Holy Spirit to bring peace on earth. They prayed for those persecuted and suffering in the Middle East and for all the victims of the Hurricanes.
