On Sunday, October 6, 2024, His Eminence Mor Dionysius John Kawak celebrated the Holy Liturgy at St. Mary’s Church in Vienna, Austria, assisted by Rev. Father Touma Kass Ibrahim, in the presence of Rev. Raban Saliba Er, and in attendance was a group of our Archdiocese members from the Eastern United States.
During his sermon, Archbishop Kawak thanked God for His blessings, and expressed gratitude to His Eminence Mor Dionysius Issa Kurbous. He also reflected on the Gospel of the day from Matthew 12: 5-16, explaining that the Lord values mercy over mere observance of rituals.
