On Friday, March 21, 2025, the faithful from our three New Jersey parishes gathered at St. Mark’s Cathedral for Holy Lent evening prayers, just as they do every night during Lent.
We were blessed to hear a sermon from Abuna Joel Jacob of our sister Malankara Syriac Orthodox Church and to pray and chant our beautiful Syriac hymns together.
After the service, our Youth came together to celebrate the 15th Episcopal Anniversary of our beloved Archbishop, His Eminence Mor Dionysius John Kawak. They surrounded him with love, showing their gratitude for his guidance, care, and dedication especially to the Youth.
