On Sunday, June 8, 2025, His Eminence Mor Dionysius John Kawak celebrated the Holy Liturgy assisted by V. Rev. Fr. Joseph Chamoun and Rev. Fr. Joseph Shammas on the great Feast of Pentecost the birthday of the Church and the day the Holy Spirit was poured out upon the Apostles.
His Eminence delivered the sermon titled “Come, Holy Spirit, Change Our Lives.” He reminded the faithful that Pentecost is not just a story from the past, but a living call for each of us to be renewed, empowered, and sent forth by the Holy Spirit today.
Followed by another special moment and celebration during the Divine Liturgy the graduation of the graduating Sunday School class and students was held for the young individuals that have completed their journey through Sunday School.
