On Sunday, November 30th, 2025, a Youth Holy Liturgy was hosted by the Mor Gabriel Youth. His Eminence Mor Dionysius John Kawak celebrated the Holy Liturgy, assisted by V. Rev. Fr. Saliba, Rev. Fr. Joseph Shammas, in the presence of V. Rev. Fr. Joseph Shabo and V. Rev. Fr. Aziz Hadodo. During his sermon, His Eminence Mor Dionysius John Kawak preached on the Visitation of the Virgin Mary to Elizabeth (Luke 1:39-56).
He reminded us that Mary goes “with haste” to serve, bringing Christ Himself into Elizabeth’s home, and that Elizabeth, filled with the Holy Spirit, calls her “the mother of my Lord,” confessing Jesus as true God even while in the womb. His Eminence underlined the sacredness of every human life from its very beginning, calling us to defend the unborn with both truth and mercy, and to support mothers and families in need. Addressing especially the youth, he invited them to be a “generation of the Yes”, saying yes to Christ, yes to prayer and purity, and yes to the Gospel of life with courage and joy.
