At the kind invitation of Turkish Airlines and Caravan Travel, our Archdiocese took part in a special pilgrimage to Turkey, following the route of the Seven Churches of Revelation (Revelation 2–3). His Eminence Mor Dionysius John Kawak, together with His Eminence Mor Titus Yeldo and Very Rev. Fr. Joseph Chamoun, joined a group of clergy and lay people from various Christian churches in the United States. During the journey, the participants prayed and reflected at the ancient cities of Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea, and at other holy places connected to the first generations of believers. At the end of the pilgrimage, the group also visited Cappadocia, discovering its valleys, early Christian cave churches, and rich spiritual heritage, and offering prayers of thanksgiving for all the blessings of this journey.
