On Friday, June 24, 2022, the gathering started with morning prayers and meditations followed by a spiritual lecture delivered by His Eminence Mor Anthimos Jack Yakoub on “Why should Christ live in me?” He told the Youth that “when Christ begins to live within us, He gives us a spirit to discern truth from error, right and wrong, and the more we’re filled with the spirit of God, the more we allow Christ to take control, the more discernment we will have.”
Followed by the second spiritual lecture that was delivered by Fr. Anthony Messeh at St. Mark’s Cathedral on the topic of “The life in the flesh VS the life in faith”
After the lecture there was a Q&A session with His Eminence Mor Dionysius John Kawak, His Eminence Mor Anthimos Jack Yakoub and Fr. Anthony Messeh.
The day ended with a Spiritual and Confession Night led by V. Rev. Fr. Andrew Bahhi which also included nourishing evening worship and hymns.
