On Sunday, February 5th, 2023, His Eminence Mor Dionysius John Kawak celebrated the Holy Liturgy assisted by Rev. Fr. Alan Shaltan at St. Athanasius Church in Tarpon Springs, Florida. During the Qurobo, His Eminence ordained new Shamoshe.
The ordination of the Shamoshe were for the two ranks: Readers, and Subdeacons
In his sermon, His Eminence spoke about the role and the meaning of the Deacons being servants. He then congratulated the families and all the new ordained Deacons on the day of their ordination.
