On Sunday, June 25th, 2023, His Eminence Mor Dionysius John Kawak celebrated the Holy Liturgy assisted by Rev. Fr. Imad Al-Banna at Sts. Peter and Paul church in Southfield, Michigan.
His Eminence first spoke shortly by congratulating Fr. Imad and the Parish on the occasion of their patron saints (Sts. Peter & Paul). He then decorated Fr. Imad Al-Banna with the holy cross as a token of appreciation for his service and achievements.
Abuna Imad delivered his sermon on the cross as a sign of love, sacrifice, and victory and His power in our life. He followed by thanking God, His Eminence Mor Dionysius John Kawak and his parish of a small and big family.
The day was concluded by Sts.Peter and Paul Festival, including honoring Abuna Imad and the graduates in the Parish.
