On Thursday, June 29, 2023, His Eminence Mor Justinos Boulous Safar celebrated the Holy Liturgy for the Feast of Sts. Peter and Paul at Mor Gabriel Church in Haworth, New Jersey, in the presence of His Eminence Mor Dionysius John Kawak, V. Rev. Fr. Aziz Hadodo the Parish Priest, V. Rev. Fr. Joseph Chamoun and V. Rev. Fr. Suleyman Wannes from Sweden.
His Eminence Mor Dionysius John Kawak first welcomed him and congratulated him on the occasion of his patron saint name on behalf of all the clergy and congregation then, His Eminence Mor Justinos Boulous explained to the faithful about the lives of the apostles St. Peter and St. Paul and how we should learn from them by walking in their footsteps to have strong faith as they did. His Eminence also added the importance of why we request and ask for the Saints prayers.
At the end of his sermon, he congratulated everyone that carries the Saints names of St. Peter and St. Paul and wished them a blessed life.
