On Sunday, November 26, 2023 , His Eminence Mor Dionysius John Kawak celebrated the Holy Liturgy at the Church of St. James of Nisibin in Corpus Christi, Texas.
In his sermon he spoke about the the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary and how it is a profound example of receiving God’s blessings with grace and humility. His Eminence told the the faithful that Mary’s life reminds us that blessings often come intertwined with challenges, and that this Thanksgiving, let us be thankful not only for the joys but also for the challenges that strengthen our faith and draw us closer to God.
