On Sunday, December 17, 2023, His Eminence Mor Dionysius John Kawak celebrated the Holy Liturgy assisted by Rev. Fr. Gabriel Alkass in the presence of Father John Khoury at the Church of the Virgin Mary in Paramus, New Jersey.
In his sermon His Eminence started by asking a few questions to the Sunday school students about the Biblical passage of Joseph’s revelation. Then he spoke about St. Joseph as a figure of profound faith and humility in the Holy Bible. He also mentioned that the life of this great and righteous Saint offers us timeless lessons in faith, obedience, and divine trust.
He concluded by reminding the faithful that it’s important to learn from St. Joseph how to be vigilant and how to protect our loved ones, especially in today’s world.
After the liturgy His Eminence Archbishop Kawak attended the Sunday School Christmas recital.
