On Sunday, January 28, 2024, His Eminence Mor Dionysius John Kawak celebrated the Holy Liturgy assisted by V. Rev. Fr. Gabriel Adde at St. Peter’s Syriac Orthodox Church in Hicksville, New York.
During the Holy Qurobo, His Eminence ordained new Sub-Deacons for our two parishes of St. Peter in Hicksville, and St. George in Brooklyn, New York.
In his sermon, His Eminence gave a few instructions to the newly ordained Shamoshe, by reminding of their duties. He then congratulated the families and all the newly ordained Deacons and everybody for this spiritual occasion.
