On Sunday, October 20, 2024, His Eminence Mor Dionysius John Kawak celebrated the Holy Liturgy in the presence of V. Rev. Fr. Aziz Hadodo on the occasion of the Youth Holy Liturgy at the Parish of the Virgin Mary in Paramus, New Jersey.
Shamosho Rami Malaab delivered the sermon about Light in a diverse world and how we preserve our Christian identity. He emphasized staying true to our faith amidst cultural diversity and shared his experiences in America. He reminded us that we are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His special people. He highlighted Daniel and his friends as examples of standing firm in faith. He concluded by saying that following our Lord’s teachings can shine brightly in this diverse world, guiding others and fostering love while remaining steadfast in our faith.
Followed by the Youth Holy Liturgy, His Eminence along with all the Youth were then invited for refreshments at the newly renovated Youth center.
