On the occasion of the 1500 jubilee of the departure of Mor Jacob of Sarug. His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II assisted by a large number of the Archbishops of our Holy Synod consecrated the Holy Myron for the first time in Europe.Previously the day before, on Saturday, November 27, 2021, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II consecrated the altar of Mor Jacob of Sarug at Mor Jacob of Sarug Monastery in Warburg. His Holiness blessed the faithful with the relics of Mor Jacob of Sarug which were brought from St. Mary Church in Diyarbakir for this special day.
