On Sunday, July 3, 2022, His Eminence Mor Dionysius John Kawak celebrated the Holy Liturgy in the presence Rev. Fr. Sharbel Bcheiry the parish priest and
V. Rev. Fr. Gabriel Adde at St. Afrem’s Church in Northlake, IL on the occasions of the Holy Ceremonial Communion and the feast of St. Thomas.
His Eminence asked the children questions related to the Holy Communion as to when and why we receive the Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. He then spoke to the parents about the importance for the kids to be brought to Church every Sunday for the Holy Liturgy and concluded by congratulating the children and their families.
